Sangria Recipes
Roman Empire Sangria Recipe

Elderflower is a delicate liqueur with a long history. It was enjoyed by the Roman Empire citizens! Add in some peaches and grapes - both delights in Rome - and you've got a traditional drink that can have you lounging on a chair. Just convince someone to wave that palm-leaf fan to keep you cool!

Roman Empire Sangria Recipe

Ingredients
1oz elderflower liqueur
peach
grapes
1 glass white wine

Put the elderflower liqueur into a glass. Add in a handful of grapes and some slices of peach. Fill up with the white wine, and enjoy!

To turn this into a party sangria recipe, there are usually four large glasses of wine in a 750ml bottle of wine. Simply multiply all ingredients by four and use a full bottle of wine in a large pitcher or bowl.

Note: I created these sangria recipes and have had them online for years. If you find similar sangria recipes elsewhere, it's because someone copied my idea. I do appreciate it when visitors write in to warn me about the plagiarism - but usually there's not much I can do about it! What's really funny is when they copy my design right down to my sangria pitcher. That's a bit much :)
